About Second Spring

Second Spring takes its name from a concept in Traditional Chinese Medicine that describes the years after menopause as a second blooming, a season of clarity, renewal, and self-expression rather than decline. That idea is at the heart of our brand.

We create skincare for mature and changing skin, with particular attention to dehydration, barrier health, sensitivity, and uneven tone. Every formula is developed to support the skin’s current needs with care, purpose, and respect.

Our products combine botanical ingredients with carefully selected cosmetic ingredients chosen for their safety, function, and proven role within each formula. We do not divide ingredients into opposing camps or include them simply because they are fashionable. Each one must earn its place.

We believe women deserve clear information about what they are using and why. That means thoughtful formulas, honest expectations, and no exaggerated promises.

Our Founder

I did not set out to create a skincare brand. I was simply trying to understand what my own skin needed as it changed.

Over time, it became drier, more sensitive, and less predictable. The products and messages I found often focused on correcting signs of age, but that was no longer what I was looking for. I wanted care that felt thoughtful, straightforward, and appropriate for the skin I had now.

That experience led me to create Second Spring.

Building the brand has meant asking careful questions, learning constantly, and being honest about what skincare can and cannot do. My goal is to create meaningful change not by asking women to become younger versions of themselves, but by helping them feel more comfortable, confident, and supported in the skin they have now.

Second Spring began with my own experience, but it was created for every woman who wants to care for her skin without being made to feel that aging is something she needs to fix.
